Winners Circle!

We have had a great couple of show years participating in NFQHA shows and clinics, as well as open events.

Goldie and Toni at the Adams County Fair in 2007. Goldie is a 3 year old out of Zink and Sissy.
KT Copper Doc Wylie, out of KT Copper Doc Comet and Captains Double Coy is a stallion that we raised here at the ranch and sold as a colt. You can see him pictured below, and his full brother below as well. Here he is at his first healing practice as he is going to be a competitive rope horse beginning in 2007. Wylie has been to 2 shows and has won money in both.
KT Ruth's Golden Girl is one of the three year olds that we are keeping. She has been Ben's ranch horse for the last few months, but we dolled her up and took her to her first show on Sept 15, 2007. She did very well for her first time off the ranch at the Adams County Fair.
Our good friend Denelle Roley drove all the way up from Canby, OR to show her mare LW Pashsheika at the Adams County Fair. Pashika took Grand Arabian mare.
Diane Schuler from Othello was grand-champion all-around mare with Jodi for the second consecutive year.
Rawlene Mann also came into the fair on her three year old mare Hotty.
KT Copper Shimmer at cutting practice at the U Bar Ranch on 6-30. This was her first cutting experience and she really watched the heifers and did a great job.
Shimmer again at the U Bar ranch cutting.
Dianne Schuler cutting her first heifer ever on Jodi at the U Bar Ranch.
Ken on a 3 year old filly doing herd work. This was the filly's first experience in cutting practice.
Kyle Stark on his cutting stallion Sonny at the cutting practice.
Laura Stark riding her mare at the cutting practice. This is Laura's first cutting experience.
Lucia riding a 3 year old at the cutting. This was this filly's first cutting experience as well.
Kellie showing Izzy in In-Hand Trail 6-16-07 at the Moses Lake "No Pressure" Horse Show. Izzy was in the 3-5 year old class, and she is a 3 year old out of Double and Cleo. She did fantastic and is seen here after going over the bridges and up the hill.
Kellie showing Izzy same as above. Another of the obstacles is backing a figure 8 around barrels. The judges can be seen in the background in the golf cart.
Here is Toni showing Shiney, a 3 year old out of Zink and Sunny. After going over the bridge, up the hill, then the course requires a jump off the other side. The bridges are covered in the brush to the right of the pic. Again, this is the "No Pressure" show in Moses Lake on 6-16-07.
Here is Toni showing Pinky in the 2 year old In-Hand Trail class. Pinky is out of Double and Porche. The first bridge is right in front, then there is a step up to the next bride with a motion sensor chicken to add a little "spook" to the event. All of our horses took these obstacles like champs.
Toni and Pinky coming off the hill and getting prepared for the jump. This course had 10 obstacles, one of which was a tunnel of brush.
KT Pink Cadilac at the Adams County Fair. Pinky was thrown in with all the mares, about 20, and she placed 4th.
Kellie and Toni at the Adams County Fair in the games. Porche and Cad both did extremely well. Porche was in the top 4 in Figure 8, Keyhole, and Poles, and 5th in barrels. Cad placed 4th in barrels and did a great job in the other events. There were about 18 entrants in the open division.
KT Pink Cadilac at the Umatilla Halter show on 7/8/06. Pinky placed in both the Yearling class and Non-colored Open class. Pinky is out of Porche and Double and is a big yearling filly that goes NFQHA.
KT Double Wylie is out of Double and KT Copper Doc Comet. He is a 2 year old and is pictured at the Umatilla Halter show where he placed second in his class. He is owned by Becky Futch. 7/8/06
KT Double the Chrome is out of Double and KT Copper Doc Comet and is a full brother to Wylie, pictured above. He is owned by Denelle and Steve Roley on Canby, OR. Pictured here just prior to turning two year old.
Here is Kellie on Pistol during Ranch Cutting. Pistol has been used on the ranch and isn't afraid to get in there and sort! Pictured at the WaFQHC June 10, 2006 Point Earning Show.
Porche was the Reserve Champion Versatility Open winner and had the overall (any category) time in Agility. Toni is riding her at the  WaFQHC June 10, 2006 Point Earning Show. Pictured in Ranch Cutting where she was second in Open, this horse is a great cow horse.
This great stallion is KT Copper Doc Leo. Pictured again at right. He is out of Copper Star Cloud and Docs Sizzle Bar. Tina and Richard Cox purchased him from us as a yearling and have turned him into a fantastic cutting horse. See a full sister to this stallion on the for sale page. Leo will be standing this season to a limited number of mares. Please contact Tina Cox for more information.
