Ranch Work
See our horses hard at work doing real ranch work. Our horses are actually proven cow horses, that don't just talk the talk, they walk the walk.  We breed high quality, aggressive cow horses, that have also proven them self in the show ring. Our horses do one-on-one sorting during our extensive AI program, and also herd cattle during all months of the year.  Our young horses are also used sorting and herding to get some real experience before we show them. We raise Angus, Hereford, and Braford cattle, using top quality bulls from all over the world to get the quality of cattle that was raise.

Kellie, Toni, and Anna on Billy and Shimmer after getting cows in and sorting 2/08.
Here is a picture of Anna out exercising Charros Dandy Miss, Pistol, on a sunny November day, 2007. Pistol is bred to a Dual Pep son, Horseplayin for 2008.
Toni on Shimmer, Garrett on Dusty, and Taiten and Anna on Billy getting ready to chase cows. Mostly Toni and Shimmer did the chasing, but it was a fun ride for the kids.
Taiten and Anna on Billy.
Toni and Billy chasing a weanling Hereford calf with "rancher rope" (bailing twine). And easy job with all the "helpers" Scruffy, Cheyenne, Buddy, and Lucky the only true cow dog in the bunch.
Same as above. Billy is a great cow horse and does awesome with leg pressure. A better view of all the helpers from right to left, Scruffy, Lucky, Buddy, and Cheyenne.
Tagging calves July 2006, with Toni, Diane Schuler, and Ben. The horses tied to the fence are Billy, Jodie, Scooter, and Pistol. We run the whole herd in, sort the cows off the calves, then sort already tagged calves off, and tag the rest which are in the far left pen.
Ben and Kicker getting this two month old Reg Angus calf that left its dam in on Pistol and Billy. June 2006.
Same as above.
Ben on Pistol moving cows. There were about 100 head of Reg Angus and Reg Braford cows in this field that were gotten in and sorted on horseback. June 2006.
Kicker on Billy, Kellie on Cad, and Ben on Pistol bringing the cows in with the help of 2 cow dogs and a three year old gelding.
Kicker and Ben pushing cows.
The "cowboys" Ben on Pistol, Kicker on Billy, Kellie on Cad with the "sidekicks" Dog and Tucker.
Dec 2005 Ben is on Cadburry Creme (Continental Cad bred), Jay is on Billy (grade gelding), Kellie is on Fiesta (Two Eyed Jack, Three Bars bred). This is a herd of Reg Angus cows being brought in to sort. Kicker is on his horse "scout" in the back.
Same as above. It was extremely cold that day, but the job got done.
