Horseshoe Ranch and Meacham Land
and Cattle LLC have teamed up to bring you
superior quality cattle.
History: Kellie and Ben Geddes bought a good group of 50 head of reg Angus to start their herd. They bought cows at the BB Cattle Co. Angus Dispersal Sale in Nov 2002. This was a really good core group of cows to get started. Since then, they have expanded by selecting only the top replacement heifers. With their AI program they have used the top bulls in the Nation to bring superior quality cattle to the table. You can buy good replacement heifers, show heifers, or bulls.
Achievements: Meacham Land and Cattle LLC has taken these bulls to the BB Cattle Spring Sale, where they had the high selling Angus Yearling Bull. A calf out of Expand with a 15.5 ribeye under 1000 lbs. Meacham Land and Cattle also had the Reserve Champion Yearling Bull at the Cattleman's Classic in Spokane, WA. Amanda McCourey has taken one of our Angus heifers to the Spokane Jr. Livestock Show and went to the championship round in both fitting and showing and market.
Carcass: Overall the calves have averaged over a 10 ribeye under 1000 lbs. Marbling and IMF have also been above average for Angus cattle.
Bulls starting at $1000- call us for more info. Show calves starting at $1500.
We also have club calves available for $1.50 per lb.
